“This snorkel was like a joke. The shipwreck had some fish and just coupke hundred feet from the beach. To see turles would be even more ridiculous, the site was almost next the the beach and there was no turtle to see!”

Barbados Shore Excursion: Carlisle Bay Turtle & Shipwreck

3.Barbados Shore Excursion: Carlisle Bay Turtle & Shipwreck

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 66 reviews · from $48Best value

From Bridgetown’s cruise terminal, you’ll ride to Carlisle Bay for two short water stops: one over a shipwreck and one near a turtle-feeding area. The 90-minute boat trip includes gear, a drink, washroom, shower, glass-bottom viewing, and a slide. Ron and the crew are especially helpful with children and first-time snorkelers.

“The tour takes you just off shore where you can easily swim to. The tour guide kept yelling to keep everyone together so it was not relaxing. The actual snorkel time is very short. We returned to the beach the next day on our own which was right by our hotel and had a wonderful time snorkelling with the turtles for free! If you know how to snorkel, don’t go on a tour. Just go to the beach with equipment.”
